While iMessage is open, if my phone moves around or the phone locks, etc, a gray bar covers the text window and I can't use iMessage until I close out the app again. Its very annoying. Please help.

I found the answer on Reddit. Go into settings and turn on Show Subject Field. Open iMessages and then close it. Go back and turn off the subject field if you don't want it there. That supposedly will fix it.

Yep, I also turned off Raise to Listen. The first thing I mentioned though should fix it. I did both, have been texting for a while and haven't had the problem.
