cancel preorder

so i just preordered an upcoming album, then realized that i had stupidly blanked on the fact it's a digital download, when i want to actually pick up the CD.

i hit the X button while it was completing it but all the tracks still show in a list as preordered (though they're grey) when i view the album on iTunes.

so how do i cancel this, if it needs cancelling? simple question, but i'm fairly new to how this all works
