Reminders app shows Chrome against reminder containing web link

I've not noticed this before, so I am assuming that this is something new with El Capitan (but I'm prepared to be wrong).

When I add a reminder using the Share button in Safari, a reminder is created with a web link in the note field. The first few times I did this an icon for Google Chrome appeared on the right —near where the ℹ icon shows. Clicking the Chrome icon would open the link in Chrome. Clicking the web link would open it in Safari.

Now Reminders behaviour has changed again. The Chrome icon is not displayed, instead the little "no entry" symbol is displayed. Nothing happens clicking this, but the link still opens in Safari when that is clicked.

In IOS9 on my iPad, the same reminders are displayed with a Safari icon, which opens the link when clicked. A reminder created on the iPad shows on the iMac with a Safari icon.

Anybody any idea how to configure the app associations in Reminders to fix this small, but irritating little problem?

There doesn't seem to be an appropriate category for Reminders, so I've selected Mail, etc.

This is still happening in macOS 10.13.1. At first links in Reminders were showing up as Chrome (even though Safari is default browser and Reminders were created in Safari). I tried resetting launch services and rebooting, which temporarily fixed the problem, however the icon now shows SparkChess, which can’t even open URL’s. Apple has really dropped the ball with this one.

I've not seen the "no entry" symbols, but am seeing the Chrome icons - even though I created the reminders via Safari's Share menu. Clicking on the icon opens the link in Chrome, even though Safari is set as my default browser.

Another issue is that when creating a Reminder via Safari, the "Lists" menu is not populated - it only displays the first Reminders list and doesn't allow me to select a different list.

Have reported both issues via apple.com/feedback (though I don't know why I bother after submitting what must have been 100's of issues over the years, I've never received a response from Apple).

Weird thing about the icon at the extreme right, but it appears that clicking the link itself is working correctly.

For those people that see this open in Chrome: this has nothing to do with the reminder being created in Safari. It has to do with the default browser.

In System Preferences->General, choose which one you want to be the default web browser.

This seems a lot like an issue I am having in iOS 9.1 that I started a separate thread about yesterday:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7332030

However my issue is even weirder. When I try to create a content-aware reminder in Safari using Siri (by telling Siri to "remember this" when viewing a web page), the reminder is created but instead of the Safari icon appearing, which is what is supposed to happen, the reminder displays the icon for the Ticketmaster app. Tapping on the icon causes my iPhone or iPad to open Ticketmaster.

Similar problem.

I am not using Siri as I have the problem on my MacBookPro. If I create a reminder using the Share button in Safari it shows up fine on my MacBookPro and on my iPad, but on my iPhone 6S it shows the Ticketmaster (or TripAdvisor) icon:User uploaded file

Clicking on the icon launches Ticketmaster.

If I use my iPhone to create the reminder from Safari with Share it works fine across all devices.

If I use my iPad to create the reminder from Safari with Share it also works fine across all devices.

I too have filed a bug report with Apple...
