Since updating my phone with the new software, (9.0.1), my phone has been horrible. The apps won't open or if they do, they close randomly. My phone is super slow, it freezes quite frequently, I can't download new apps. It's just plain awful.
I've done a reset a couple times and still no help. Is there anything I can do?

Yes.
First, the "new" software is iOS 9.0.2, which was actually released four days ago. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to the current version.
If that does not solve your issue, and reset does not either, then check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage and make sure you have plenty of free space on your iPhone.
Thanks! It's not the newest version, but 9.0.1 was new to me haha. Every time I try and update to the newest software, I'm getting this message.

You use AT&T Microcell, but it looks like your WiFi is not emitting a strong signal at all. I suggest you check Settings > Cellular > [scroll all the way down to] WiFi Assist = "On", as it looks like you have a strong cellular signal.
