Grammer check on Pages

Using the grammar checker with Pages apparently does not allow me to view the contents of the correction while I'm checking - or is there a way to view the corrections while in the text? Or is there a better way to do grammar checking ( I know its limitations) in Pages?

What you have seen of Pages v5.5.3 grammar checking is all you are going to get from Apple.

In contrast, I just downloaded Linguisoft's Grammarian Pro X2 v2.011b1, which has a 7 day trial period, and by the screen capture below, you can see that I have selected the first paragraph of the Invisible Man, and asked Grammarian to grammar check just that selection. Your selection can be a single sentence, or the whole document. I think this is the level of detail that you want. This was done on El Capitan with Pages v5.5.3. Click to enlarge. I have no financial interest in Linguisoft.
