Missing storage in iCloud

My iCloud is warning me that the storage (5GB) is getting full and only 143MB is available

After I went to setting -> iCLoud ->Storage -> Manage Storage, it tells me that

Backups of iPhone & iPad is 1.7GB

Documents & Data is 461.3MB

but at the bottom, it said

143MB available of 5.0 GB on iCloud

where is my 2.9GB?

I guess that it may be occupied by my backups of my old iPhone/iPad i use previously. But I don't see these backup in the Backup List.

How can I get back my 2.9GB storage?

iCloud-OTHER, iOS 9.0.2

Hi ManSinha, thanks for your suggestion.

I finally made a call to local Apple Support. They admitted that this is a problem of iCloud.

I deleted all backup in my iCloud. But there are still 2.71GB Backup in my iCloud.

Backup of that 2.71GB cannot be deleted via my old iPhone, Window iCloud, Mac iCloud, nor any other iDevice I have.

The Apple Support suggested me to switch back to iTune Backup and wait a month to see if the 2.71GB will disappear. 😕

I hope Apple iCloud support staff can aware this case.

Same problem here.

I have 2 backup devices, my iPad and my iPhone 6.

iPhone backup storage: 1,2GB

iPad backup storage: 879 MB

However, it says: only 1,1GB available of the 5,0GB.. so i have 2GB missing.

Even when i go to icloud.com, it displays that i use 3,9GB of storage (instead of 2,1GB which should be the normal total), and it's impossible to see what are those 3,9GB..
