Serious bugs and problems on iOS 9.2

Do you have the app OneDrive on your device?

If so, delete that app and restart your device.

I had al kinds of issues after installing 9.2 and that did the trick.

I had the same issues after updating my 5s to iOS 92.

Reset and restoring a backup did not help.

I even restored a backup on a new iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2, which gave the same freezing issues!

So it is software related and a combination of your current configuration (apps, strings, etc) and iOS 9.2.

It helped me to keep restarting (home and of/off button pressed simultaneausly for 10 secs) and have it working for a while (although less than an hour or so) to get some things done:

Update all your apps in the app store.

After that try to deleting some apps you have recently installed and try again.

Lately I have deleted Calculator+ and Onedrive and now it seems not to freeze anymore (for a few hours).

I also seem to get every issue. So far these are the issues. WiFi, which is the main problem. It drops all the time, so bad in fact that when my wife and I try to watch 10 videos, or load 10 pages she can do in about 1/20th of the time (she has Android) as my WiFi stops working. I'll have to wait or close the page and wait then try again. It's been happening since I bought the Iphone 6 on the first day, and it has gotten a little better since each release of the IOS system. If I turn off WiFi and use data (which I do now), no lag! Other problems include, no notifications, calendar error events, music app crashes, shows the wrong music, stops playing. I've read every post I can and have restarted, wiped clean, etc. and the problems seem to slowly creep back. If I use the phone with all the extra features (background refresh, do not disturb, notifications) it hardly does anything right. I know that ios was a problem, and things have gotten better with ios 9 but it seems that the core functions are not getting fixed. I really like apple, but these problems are going to drive me crazy. I also am going to move to Android if my phone does not start working correctly in the next update or two.

Sorry I have no answers, as all the fixes given to me by Apple have yet to work.

Same issues here on an iPhone 6s Plus. Podcasts (in Overcast app) and audio books (in Audible) will stop randomly. But, I also use Bluetooth in my car for phone calls, and music or podcasts that have been paused for the call will randomly start playing over the speakers a few minutes into the call.

I'm having phone issues, as well. A few calls just end randomly in the middle of the calls, and I just made two calls and about 30 seconds into each call, the other person couldn't hear me, but I could hear them.

Get your stuff together, Apple. Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of defending you as higher quality than the competition. Hardware remains great, but software has rolled downhill the past few years.

I Have never posted here before but I just have to. WTH is going on with the latest update?! My battery is draining, my keyboard goes off by itself, music shutting off, apps closing, my fingerprint ID I have to keep updating, apps crashing, notifications not working!

AS I type my keyboard is going haywire!

Apple better fix this soon or I may be asking Santa for a Galaxy6.

Please go get a Galaxy. Then you can whine in their forums. Apple isn't going to fix anything, unless you take your phone to an Apple store. The problem is with YOUR PHONE, not with any specific version.

Yes, I'm sure because hundreds of millions of users updated and do not have any problems. When only a few phones do the problem is with the specific devices. When there are real problems with a release thousands of posts about it appear overnight.

Yes! Thank you, I forgot to add that my email is acting up. This is so annoying. I have installed many IOS updates and all seem to have their glitches but this last one is a nightmare...so frustrating.

Lawrence, I won't be so sure if I were you. I had the same problems mentioned here on my iPhone5 and installed my backup on a brand new iPhone 6 with 9.2 installed. Exactly the same problems occurred. So it IS a software problem. A combination of configuration (which not everybody has the same) and IOS 9.2. So we should seek here in similarities in configurations I should think.

Please do not mix one issue with another. And please do not hack someone other's thread.

You get much more help and more focussed when you start your own thread and describe the issue(s) you have as good as you can. Do not include the what you think is the cause (here only say that you did not notice it before you upgraded the iOS), include the exact type of equipment and iOS.

I am seconds away from throwing this phone out of my window. Where do I begin? Messages: I can't send iMessages. And when I sclick send as message it doesn't go through. Fix this. Next Podcast: crashes. Fix this. Next Music: crashes. Fix this. Oh and my favorite Mail: crashes. But not only does it crash when I need it the most, it has been vibrating and making the notification sound at least 4 times a minute (not exagerating). Fix this. My predicted text is not working. When I try to click on a word it thinks im clicking the space bar. And my phone has been vibrating in the background as if there is a ghost texting on my phone. Apple, you need to fix this now! Worst update ever!!!!!!

Why asking 98malimal, this is the person who has posted his/hers problems, and expects help here ??
