Serious bugs and problems on iOS 9.2

I Have the iPhone 6 and updated to ios 9.2 I have been experienc lots of issues and I'm tired of it. Firstly when I'm on the music app it will randomly shut off for no reason at all. I can be listening to somethinng the gym and then the music will stop and I'll have to unlock my phone and hit play. Then when I'm off of wifi and have no data at all, when go to the music app and go to the my music section its just a blank white screen. Then when I'm texting and switching from app to app the keyboard will sometimes not be visible at all. I am getting and tired of this. Why is it only me dealing with these issues? I need an answer this makes no sense to me? I haven't tried to jailbreak it, I have an otter box on it so when it falls I know nothing serious has happened to it? Can I get a new iPhone from Apple ? Someone help please I'm tired of having these issues on my phone. My phone is in perfect condition no scratches and it's less than a year old, in asking again can someone please tell me what I should do. I just hate that I have to suffer with these issues it seems like I'm the only one....

Hi Lawrence

I work for a Telecoms company in the UK and a customer of mine had stumped me with his iPhone 6 Plus update to iOS 9.2

He did the update OTA and now he gets the Hello screen, slide to complete. Adds the password for his iTunes account, clicks next and then it asks if he wants to use find my iPhone as he clicks next it loops back to the Hello screen and keeps doing that. I have told him to put the phone into recovery mode, but iTunes isn't finding the phone. Any suggestions please?

If you do that, do you lose any current data on your phone?

And is it helping to get the freezing away?

About the symptoms:

Now I keep on resetting my iPhone by holding the power and home button simultaneously, sometimes it is going to freeze within minutes, and sometimes it takes a few days. And when I get into an app soon after restart, it looks like I can move and scroll still, but leaving it will bring the Phone also to a freeze.

And above all, when in freeze, my Assitive Touch button keeps on reacting (opening and moving over the screen), but does not react when pressing one of the buttons.

Looks like a memory problem or conflict handling the apps...

Hi Lawrence,

No, my iPhone has not been Jailbroken. It all occurred immediately after installing 9.2.

Funny things also:

After reset, when the icons show, it takes longer in time before my badge-icon shows for my messages.

Indicating a freeze soon.

And when it appears reasonably fast, it takes longer to freeze.

Other funny thing when I know that a freeze will come up soon is that my keyboard doesn't show, e.g. when I am in an edit mode (but, the screen part there IS sensitive, so you can type 'blind').

A C&P is appropriate here...

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...

Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod/iPhone and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod/iPhone. Again, say "yes."

At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod/iPhone. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.

If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.
