How to make quicktime a default player

Hey guys I am using OS Yosemite and about to upgrade to El Capitan. I just found out while moving some videos from my Photos App that they switch to WM4 and not Quicktime. It seems that Windows player somehow became my default player even though I deleted Parallel. How can I change the setting on Quicktime player to default?
