El Capitan Office 2011 Microsoft fix 14.5.6 Did NOT Fix Issues

Good Afternoon:

I installed El Capitan on Oct 1st. Since then NONE of my Office 2011 applications will start. Each time I try and start Outlook, Word, Excel or Powerpoint I get the Microsoft Error Reporting window. Below is the information being reported for each application. I just finished installing the latest Microsoft fix 14.5.6.150930 and still have the same issues.

I really really need help with this as it is affecting my business.

Respectfully;

Mark K.

Just ran into same problem. Brand new iMac running El Capitan 10.11.1. I had to re-installed entire office. I made sure to delete all office identities, preferences and cours the apps themselves.

Be sure to save Office Identities (within user accounts/Documents/ so you do not loose any saved emails.

I also did not allow office to run any updates and I turned off automatic updates. All 4 programs are now working

I don't use Outlook. To get Word to work, I deleted the Normal.dot (no joy).

Then I tried the Database Utility (no errors, no joy)

Then I went into /Library/Fonts/Microsoft and trashed all the font files that Font Book declared to be duplicates

I had already "deactivated" them and copies still sit in /Library/Fonts Disabled, but it seems to have done the trick.

The list is: Andale Mono, Arial Black, Arial Bold Italic, Arial Bold, Ariel Italic, Arial Narrow, Arial Rounded Bold, Arial, Bauhaus 93, Brush Script, Comic Sans MS, Georgia, Impact, Tahoma, Times New Roman Bold Italic, Times New Roman Bold, Times New Roman Italic, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS Verdana Bold Italic, Verdana Bold, Verdana Bold, Verdana, Wingdings 1, Wingdings 2, Wingdings 3
