i have repeatedly tried to upgrade the apple watch with my iPhone....it goes to verifying and then does nothing....don't know what to do. any suggestions?

I was able to get the update installed by resetting the watch, as described here: Apple Watch Update Errors
my apple watch will not will not upgrade....any suggestions....says its verifying and does nothing.
