Why does photolibraryd wants to connect to gspXX-ssl.ls.apple.com
I just added an image from "Messages" to "Photos Library" however my firewall threw up an alert that "photolibraryd" wants to connect to "gspXX-ssl.ls.apple.com" (where XX happened to be 36 this instance, but could be any server id numeric.)
It appears that photolibraryd interacts with photomoments to send a 148B request to gsp36-ssl.ls.apple.com/revgeo.arpc for each image I save to Photos.
Does anyone happen to know why photolibraryd feels compelled to phone home and if this is really necessary?
Thanks!
