Icloud won't backup

So like the title says, icloud won't backup my IPhone for the last three weeks. I tried a couple of things...First I turned off Icloud backups and tried to turn it on again. Got an error message "Icloud backup failed, there was a problem enabling icloud backup". So then a tried to erase my previous backup thinking maybe that would help but when I go to check it says I never backed up this iPhone...weird... so I'm thinking i'll try switching off apps one by one from backing up but then I get a message that I cannot turn off backup...

Don't know what to do next, anybody have a suggestion?
