When in the Updates section of the App Store app, the icons are blank. Both apps that have been updated today (Oct 9, 2015) and apps that have updates pending. Apps that were updated earlier show their icons normally. This is happening today on two devices; an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.1 and an iPad mini running 9.0.2.

Update: on the iPhone apps that were updated October 8 also have blank icons. Apps updated prior to October 8 show icons normally.
I am having the same issue since yesterday 10.8.15 - I've tried a few things but it does not change on either my iPad air 2 or iPhone 6 with latest iOS
Yup...same issue here, started just recently, occurring after Oct 8th, 2015.
I have 2 iPhone 6's on iOS 9.0.2 that have the issue...and 2 iPad Air's on iOS 8.3 that also experience the issue.
So...it's not OS version dependent, nor is it device dependent (aside from being an iOS device, lol), at this point...therefore must be iTunes-related on Apple's end.
I can update the apps, so it's just annoying at this point.
Nevertheless...hope they fix it soon though.
SSame for me. iPhone 5 and iPad mini 3, both with iOS 9,0.2. This must be an iTunes issue.
Same for me - on both my iPad Air and iPhone 6 since the October 8th 2015 app updates the associated icons are greyed out. Prior to October 8th 2015 they are all fine, but everything from and including that date are greyed out?
UPDATE: The issue seems to be resolved, new updates are appearing with their icons intact, however those icons in my history from the last few days still do not load.
