Hue Bridge 2.0 HomeKit Problem

I got the bridge 2.0 and set it up and all worked ok.

Now siri does not work any more. When I try to set up again, i get the message:

"Another user already paired the HomeKit enabled bridge. Please ask the user to share his / her home kit settings in order for you to start using Siri voice control"

I checked online and philips page said to log out of iCloud and try again. But when I do that, it says to log into keychain. So I log back into iCloud and enable keychain but then I get the same original message as above.

Anyone know what's going on?

I too had nothing but problems when trying to upgrade to the Hue Bridge 2. I kept getting the "iCloud Sync" issue that wouldn't ever go away. And then when I did manage to get it installed I also got the "Other user is connected..." type of message. It was VERY, VERY, VERY frustrating and took hours to time to troubleshoot. I disable my iCloud account, and followed all the steps properly as outlined in the Hue troubleshooting site- but nothing helped.

I finally uninstalled ALL software on all my IOS devices, and even removed my Bridge from the MyHue account...and then started the installation process from scratch making certain that it worked with Siri and everything on my main iPhone 6S. I also had to delete a "HOME" accessory on the secondary iPad before it would work and use only the SHARED HOME item. I was able to get it to work. I was then able lot get the account to share to my spouse's iPad with a different AppleID from mine. So, now Siri works on those two devices...BUT, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to push it to my other IOS devices.

This has NOT been a great installation experience. Someone at Apple and Hue need to talk a bit more together and figure out why we're all having issues that should not exist.

I see that the latest app update from Philips has made no difference to the issue.

It is still not working for me, I still have a bridge apparently linked to another user!

All Philips tell me to do is reset my HomeKit settings on the iPhone, which does nothing and does not let me pair the bridge to my device.

I WILL NOT reset the bridge and lose all my settings / scenes etc, it is terrible software that makes you lose everything.

no one got this "other user problem" back to work, am I correct? this can't be true. I had Siri for less than a week working, since then I'm stuck with a Bridge 2.0 with functions of an 1.0 one. why the **** is nothing happening on Philips side to help us out!? Not even a little message or some news how far they come with bug fixing. Or did I just missed something?

i have tried that two times so far. it worked, kind of. At least for 2 days at max. After that it all went bad again and the problem came back. So no Resetting for me again. That's way to much work and should not be the fix we have to use. I Had good experience with Philips customer service so far, but that case is a complete different thing. Never felt so left alone with a problem.

I had the same issue as the initial post in this thread.

So I factory reset my bridge and started all over again, and now Siri does recognise two single commands: Turn all Lights on or off. The crazy thing is it only does this for the one Philips Hue Bloom not associated with a scene. Any Hue Bulb, Lightstrip, Disney Story Light, Hue Go or Bloom in a scene does not respond to this command - surely "All" Lights, means all lights paired with the bridge!!!

It gets worse, when using the terms to set a Hue Scene On or Off as described in their guidelines, Siri will simply do a internet search - very helpful O_O

Frankly, it just doesn't work, and I'm surprised that Philips and Apple would put this out without a big fat "BETA" label plastered all over it!

I am experiencing the error already synced with another user.

I am trying to control the hue bridge 2.0 with an iPhone and an iPad using the same AppleID. I made the mistake of resetting HomeKit and ended up having to reset the bridge and reassign 30 some devices. Same issue after that. I did get Siri working locally and through LTE after fighting with the AppleTV 3rd gen.

I am hesitant to try and reset anything, this configuration seems to be very delicate. It sounds like Apple and Philips are aware of the issue, I guess I will wait it out...

The goal is to be able to pick up any iOS device and control the hue system with Siri. Right now it is only working on the phone.
