Apple Support Communities signs me out!

When I exit Safari on my iPad Air 1, and go back, Apple Support Communities signs me out! It remembers my email so all I have to do is type my password in the password field, but still, why would ASC sign me out when I exit Safari? Is this an automated feature? I can't find any option to stay signed in to ASC in the sign in field, nor can I find one in the Preferences field. I can't find any "stay signed in" option in the "Privacy" area either! Please tell me why this is happening and please fix it so I can stay signed in and not have to enter my password again and again every time!

You are likely to be signed out after a period of inactivity, and there isn't any option to stay signed in. You should be able to save your password so that it automatically populates on the login screen e.g. Settings > Safari > Autofill > Names & Password 'on' or Settings > Safari > Passwords > Add Password

And in terms of 'fixing it', we are fellow users.

It's for security measures. Say for instance you exited the ASCs but you are still signed in and will remain signed (at your request). Your little brother "borrows" your iPad and starts posting to the ASCs under your account and wreaks havoc, spewing nonsensical drivel and basically making you seem like your a bad person. It's a bit of a stretch (as it may have been your little sister). 😉
