Q: MacBook Pro freezes, goes black, shuts down or restarts

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) running Yosemite 10.10.5.

It crashes at seemingly random intervals: it either freezes, goes black, shuts down or restarts.

Time between these crashes can be anything between several weeks to 1 day.

I've tried to work out if there's a pattern to the crashes but can't come up with any. The activity just before the crashes seems to be just about anything including sitting there idle, although I've noticed that crashes often happen while watching video on Netflix or BBC iPlayer  either on Chrome or Safari.

I've tried doing a clean install, several times.

I've been to Apple service centre with my macbook. They tested it for a week and couldn't reproduce the error. I pleaded with them and they were very nice and replaced the logic board. I hoped that would fix the problem, but now the crashes have reappeared.

In case it's useful, I've included an extract from my Console - System Log Queries, All Messages - from just before the latest crash at about 151011 19:31.
