Jetdrive Lite 130 Macbook Air El Capitan

Wow, I wish I had found this thread sooner. This has been happening to me since the El Capitan upgrade and I took it into the Apple Store multiple times to get checked out. They eventually replaced my logic board suspecting the CPU to be the cause. But it looks like it's definitely the JetDrive Lite. Just installed the new JetDrive Toolbox 1.14.1 - fingers crossed that fixed it.

Quick update: JetDrive Toolbox 1.14.1 did NOT work - still getting kernel panics on wake. Went ahead and turned off the "POWER SAVE" option. If that doesn't work, will go ahead and uninstall JetDrive Toolbox.

Hey, I also tried 1.14.1 and it didn't work for me too. Very disappointing. I uninstalled JetDrive Toolbox completely and haven't had any kernel panics since then. Really hope Transcend is working on that.

Having the same issue as the others with my 2014 Macbook Air with El Capitan and a Transcend JetDrive Lite 160. I am using v1.14.1 of the JetDriveToolbox and these kernel panics will still occur ever so often on wake. I've since turned off Power Save mode to test, and if that doesn't remedy it I'll uninstall JDT all together.

I spoke with the Transcend support and they claim that this problem is caused by Apple:

"We found this issues is caused by Apple Office.

There is many problem in El Capitan , we had complain to Apple Office.

They said they will fix it.

Thanks."

Turning off "Power Save" did the trick for me. Although the drive still mounts when I wake the computer up. So I'm not exactly sure what the "Power Save" feature is suppose to do if the card is already being mounted automatically on wake.

I'm new to the world of Macs, just got myself a late 2013 MBA, did a clean install of El Capitan, and bought the jetdrive 130. Inserted it, it detected the drive, I reformatted it to the OSX journaled format, and then downloaded and installed the Jetdrive toolbox software.

Quick question, the jetdrive toolbox has two tabs, JetDrive and JetDrive Lite. Is the JetDrive tab with the drive/smart/health/upgrade options supposed to detect the JDL130? clicking on any of the tabs a pop up says 'no supported SSD drive', is this correct? Clicking on the JetDrive Lite tab, I can toggle the Power Save on and off, but there's no feedback that it's doing anything.

Lastly, the Toolbox doesn't seem to mount the drive back. Do I have to keep the Toolbox open all the time and it be showing on my dock for it to work? ( I guess I will experiment with this now). Thanks for any help!

How come my JetDrive Lite still cannot auto-remount from the standby mode on wake?

This is a problem just in OS X 10.11.3 ?

Just downloaded JetDriveToolbox 1.14.3. Will report back on whether it fixed the kernel panics.

I too downloaded the latest Transcend patch 1.14.3 (1) and applied on El Capitan. The problem seems to have been resolved. It takes a few more seconds for JetDrive Lite to appear on desktop though, but it works! Power Save setting is ON.

I checked this thread every week since I found it months ago... FINALLY the Jetdrive Lite works again, just installed the toolbox update... Awesome, I can't believe this! Great work Transcend, took you just about half a year 😁!
