Airport Express + Router access problem

I`m having trouble accessing my airport in my home network. I have a MacBook Pro (17-inch, Late 2011) connected via wifi to my ISP router.

My Apple Airport Express is connected to my ISP router via WIFI.

The problem is that I can´t reach my airport express through any wifi device on my home.

The only way I can reach my airport express is when I connect my MacBook to my ISP router through LAN cable. That way I can use my airport express with no problems. The second I unplug the ethernet cable off my laptop, I can´t reach my airport express anymore.

Could somebody help me out here? What am I doing wrong?

PS: These trouble started the moment my ISP game me a brand new wifi router. This problem did not exist with my older wifi router.

Thanks!!!

First question is What purpose do u use airport for?

Next, I would like you to post screenshots of the following. I have windows so I will show you windows equivalent for ur mac.

First post the IP configuration of your Mac.I believe the command in terminal for Mac is ipconfig -a

Next go to airport utility on ur Mac or ipad and connect the ethernet cable so that your airport is seen on the airport utility. Post the following screenshots. Again this is windows airport utility so do ur best in posting the equivalent. Select the airport and choose manual setup.

Ideally if ur ISP router is the main router, then all your other devices connected wirelessly to it should be on the same subnet (255.255.255.0) including ur Mac, ipad, and your airport. Also ur airport should have wireless setting of airport utility on 'join a network' or extend a network' mode and TCPIP either set to manually or dhcp. Also make sure you have ISP router network security setting to WPA2 personal, some posts here suggest other security modes might create a problem.

If possible though, we could keep the ISP router in bridge mode only - send an ethernet cable from that to your airport and let the airport be the wireless router of your house. Before doing that, please post those screenshots and lets try the minimal change option.

Post those screenshots and we will see if theres a problem with your settings. Settings in my screenshot arent necessarily suitable for you.
