Passcode requested before 48 hours up

I would like to know if any one has encountered this situation and if there is

some tweak to fix.

A coupe times now (first with my 5S and now my new 6s, both on iOS9.x) I have been getting

prompted to enter my passcode when unlocking my iPhone with the message that the phone has not

been unlocked in 48 hours. It is set up for fingerprint ID for log in.

For example, I received this message this morning, even though I used my phone last night before

I went to bed to check the weather (~10 hours).
