I created a new Apple ID with a different email address instead of changing my original account as I should have. Now I can't use the new email address that I want to use for my account,it's setup as a new account already. How can I delete the Apple ID?

How can I delete the Apple ID that I set up in error?

You can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can/will delete it for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/


Or just log into the account and change its email address to something else so that you can then try reusing that address on your old account (you can create free email addresses via http://gmail.com or http://hotmail.com) : Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
