Apple ios 9.0.2 - WORST update ever!

Updating to ios 9.0.2 has been the single WORST experience on my iPhone 6+ or any iPhone for that matter!

1. Apps fail to update. When I tap the "update" or "update all" button, it just rolls around and goes back to the original "update" status!

2. When I restart my phone, my "settings" and other apps randomly open in the background when my phone restarts!

3. Apps are crashing left, right and centre!

4. Reminders are failing to be sent as before!

5. Push notifications are failing to be sent as before!

6. Phone freezes much more than it use to!

Why the **** does an "ios update" these days always mean incredible annoyance and endless frustration? It's like my phone has been hijacked by all these useless bugs and it's not even funny. Is someone seriously getting intoxicated at Apple and screwing things up with each ios update? What the **** is going on???

I didn't ask for your personal help buddy, so hold it back if you so choose. I (and many others) just need Apple to fix this ruddy mess.

By you coming here and posting on these forums, you are asking for help. There's nothing for Apple to fix. The issue is with YOUR PHONE..not the update. import all your photos, videos, songs, etc... to your computer, restore the phone and setup it up as a new device, then be on your way. If you can't accept that responsibility, then stop wasting your time.

I wouldn't worry too much, most of his rude and off topic comments have been deleted by the Moderators. Just one more Troll. 😉

I agree. It is the worst update ever! My iphone 6 died on me right after I updated. I heard that the new Apple update still has so many glitches after several patches. I stopped by at Verizon and the Apple store trying to fix it. The apple tech assistance did not help at all to fix it and surprisingly, a rep at the Verizon store was so much more helpful than the Apple store. I am really disappointed with the customer service at Apple store. I guess I am done with Apple and will switch to an Android phone.

Can we stop with the unhelpful denial of issues and blaming the owner? There obviously are problems otherwise people wouldn't be asking for help. Since this is a walled garden the problems are Apple's one way or another. Their argument is they have to control everything to prevent problems. So they control everything, so regardless of the origin of the issue, it is an Apple component.

Lastly, it isn't unreasonable to want to have isssues resolved without starting over. For folks that don't have a lot on their devices it may not be a huge inconvenience, but for some of us it is.

Take my example. I upgraded my phone OTA, that's it. All Apple mechanisms. How exactly is this my fault, or my phone's falt? And if it is my phone, how is that not an Apple thing?

You want Apple to wave a magic wand and somehow make your problems go away. Just like when your car doesn't start you want the dealer to do the same thing. Life isn't like that. If you have a problem you need to actually do something to get it fixed. Not just post a message saying that somehow the problem should go away. It won't. Apple will be happy to resolve the problem if you take the phone to an Apple store. Or you can do it yourself. But it will not happen magically. Either way, you have to actually do something to fix it. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Members here can give you advice on how to fix it. But none of us have magic wands. If that is the solution you want you need to contact Harry Potter.

What changed is that Apple now washes their hands regarding your phone. They won't fix it if its broken, they would offer you a discounted replacement.

The only advice is to restore iOS using iTunes. Set it up as a new phone. Test it. If everything works, restore your backup. If anything doesn't work when set up as New, you damaged something inside, whether you think you did or not.

If anything stops working after restoring the backup there is corrupt data in the backup. Restore it again and manually reinstall everything.

Oh, and if you jailbroke it that is most likely the root cause of your problem.

even after restoring the screen won"t turn on . it goes in black screen right after the apple logo appears at the startup . the issue appeard when i was texting to someone. i don"t agree it is a hardware issue because when mirroring via itools it works . and if it was a display problem the logo wouldn"t appear . the only thing i can presume is that a proces starting durring boot is preventing the screen to turn on
