Can I install PowerPivot in a MacBook?

If there is not a Mac version available then y can run Windows on your Mac two ways:

- In a virtual machine app like the paid Parallels or the free VirtualBox

- Run Widows natively on the Mac hardware using Apple Boot Camp

I any event you have to purchase the Windows software.

For your application I would go with running Windows in a virtual machine. Easier to setup

i believe you misread the Register article. It comments that PowerPivot is not available in Mac Excel 2016.

ah yes. My apologies. I didn't read all the way to the bottom. I've left feedback for the author to specify that his page is Windows only - not Mac.
