iPhone 5c -- should I upgrade to iOS 9.0.2?

No, stay away from 9. i have a 5s unusable right now. wait to see that the unresponsive screen issue are all Solved.

ios 9 look like it is uanble to work with screen less than perfect. and sine apple screen are very far from perfect.

unless you a willing to buy a new phone or pay more than an hundred dollard in new screen, stay away!

Most never have any issue with any update.

I, nor anyone I know, have ever had an update issue.

I see no reason not to update at all.

i have meet two in the last 2 week. and please Read the forum, anything that llok like, screen unresponsive, screen problem.

this is my only phone at home, and going to business trip next week.

hope i don't have to dial 911. there will probably be all dead by the end of dial.

having my third metting with apple genius tonight to find have a solution. will probably cost me 150$ of investement on a 5s.

Sorry. 8 year of happiness with apple going down the drain right now!!

250,000,000 people have updated to iOS 9. Perhaps a few HUNDRED have issues. I'll take those odds any day.

I'll echo Roaminggnome and state neither I nor anyone I know or work with has had issues updating the iOS.
