iPhone 6s plus display image shaking/vibrating

Just purchased a iphone 6s plus (verizon, space grey, 64gb) from the apple store. I'm having a subtle yet very annoying problem with the display. When running certain graphics-heavy games (e.g. world of tanks blitz, minecraft pe, etc.), about half of the image on the screen vibrates rapidly. It's kinda subtle (at first I thought my hands were shaking) but the image is definitely vibrating.

Here's what I've noticed:

-The shaking does not occur on the home screen, nor in most apps. It only seems to happen in certain high performance graphics games. Additionally, the shaking will temporarily stop if a notification comes up, if I swipe up for control panel, etc.

-The shaking only happens when I have the display zoom view on "standard." If I switch the view to "zoomed" the shaking no longer occurs.

-If I flip the phone upside-down to switch the orientation, the side of the screen that’s shaking/vibrating also switches. In other words, the side of the physical display where the shaking happens is constant, regardless of orientation. Holding the phone upright with the home button at the bottom, the shaking area is a big backwards “L” from the top right to the bottom left.

Sorry for the long post, just have no idea what’s going on and really wonder if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks!

IPhone 6s plus. One week old. Ios 9.0.2 16gb, space grey. Unlocked. Boght in Germany.

Have the same!!!! Major apple fail again. What do we do apple is it software or hardware? 850 euro are paied to have bugs?

We're not Apple. Addressing Apple here is pointless.

I can only speak for myself, but if I were to purchase a device that didn't work properly, I'd either return it or bring it to the manufacturer for service. But that's just me.

GDG, are you saying that posting issues to the forums is pointless, or simply chastising Yeras Odes for harmlessly venting frustration? Did you experience this issue and find a resolution through service/replacement? Do you have reason to believe that service/replacement will resolve the issue and that this is not a software issue with the apps? I'm not sure how your post is meant to be helpful.

iPhone 6s Plus 64Gb Space Gray ZP code here in Vietnam and I have the same issue. Playing World of Tanks Blitz is really a pain in the a**. When holding the phone up right, all right side of the phone will shake and no matter which orientation I am playing, that part keep shaking. I have just bought if for 2 days and it bothers me a lot.

Yeah it's a pain. Have you tried switching to "zoomed" ddisplay mode? (Settings > display & brightness > display mode) It's not ideal but it stops the shaking and is better than getting carsick from playing a game, IMO.

I was able to get in for an Apple Genius Bar appointment. They had never seen the issue before and ended up replacing the phone. Unfortunately, the replacement has the same issue. I guess it must be a software issue of some sort, fingers crossed for a fix in an update soon.

I also noticed that the shaking goes away if I turn on air play mirroring. Wanted to test if it would show up on the TV, and found that not only did it not show up, but the shaking on the phone itself stopped as well. Turned mirroring off and the vibration resumed immediately.

Another observation: While the shaking only occurs in certain games (so far I've seen it in Minecraft PE, World of Tanks Blitz, and Sky Gamblers), I noticed that there's a one or two pixel white gap along the right and bottom edges of the display at all times (home screen, etc.). It's so small that it can only be seen when using the accessibility zoom feature.

Thanks for the info. I tried a live chat with them but still nothing yet. I hope this is a software problem, not a mass hardware problem since I can not get my phone replace easily here in Vietnam.
And yes, the "Zoomed" mode fix the problem but it look so stupid 😟 Thanks again mate

Im honestly frustrated with the 6s display issues, all ones I have had all contain screen backlight issues. Im returning it and using my 6+ which is still a reliable device.
