Numbers Date Format Without Time?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11)
You can enter "just the date" in cells with a Data Format set to Text. The easiest way to do that is type a ' (an apostrophe) before you enter a "date".
Here, I've entered the "date" as text in A3. Note it is left-aligned by default unlike a date-time string, which is right aligned.
Though it is text and you can edit it as such (i.e. you won't see a time component of a date-time string), the date functions still work.
SG
The time still shows when in editing mode, that's what I don't want to see.
