Does MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) support Windows 10 or not?

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) which is listed as able to support Windows 10

but, I'm getting: "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file." I am on OS X El Capitan v.10.11 with Boot Camp Assistant 6.0.0 and pointing to Win10_English_x64.iso that I downloaded from Microsoft. I have enough room for the install. I've tried redownloading the ISO.

Here are my results:

How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support Dead end at Step 3 because, "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file."

https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/mac/5.0/help/ Dead end at Step 6 under Install Windows on your Mac > Prepare your Mac because, "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file."

Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support Dead end at Step 4 of Perform a new install of Windows 10 because "install a new copy of Windows" links to your first link and because, "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file."

Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from Windows installation media - Apple Support I did not do this because the ISO image I downloaded from Microsoft is already an ISO image. Unfortunately, once I select it in BCA it doesn't work because, "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file."

Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5722 This download is for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. I'm trying for 10.

Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5769 This download is for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. I'm trying for 10.

This page https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204990#models gives me the same answer of, "Yes." but, it's a lie because, I get "Need 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file" when trying to use BCA 6 with Win10 ISO on my 13" rMBP running OS X 10.11.

So, perhaps my question should be, what magical piece of information in the installation is missing from these instructions? How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support

Thanks Loner!

I wouldn't necessarily categorize my past attempts as "W10 installation attempts" since I can't even get past the need for a 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO file. But, resetting SMC and NVRAM are always good calls for troubleshooting so, thanks. Unfortunately, BCA still asks for Windows 8 or later ISO.

Keep in mind that this is on El Capitan with Boot Camp Assistant 6 where there is no screen to Select Tasks to create an installation disk, download Windows support software or install/remove Windows. The first instructions are to choose the Windows ISO image, select partition size and hit Install... And that's when it asks for a 64-bit Windows 8 or later ISO.

So, am I using the wrong BCA that came with El Capitan since it doesn't want to support the Win10 ISO?

Or, do I need to downgrade BCA because Win10 can only happen through an upgrade path from Windows 8?

Or, Is there a manual update that I need to do to BCA that isn't showing up in the App Store Update?

Or, should I abandon BCA to install and try a completely manual approach (if there is one)?

Or, should I abandon trying to install Windows 10 since it isn't supported at this time?

How is How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support incomplete? What am I missing?
