My Apple watch stuck in infinite loop turning off and on

My watch was not charging. I went to an apple store and was recommended to unpair my watch and reset it. I tried using the app to do this but wouldn't happen. I procede to do this using the reset option on the watch. It completed the reset and asked me to pair watch with phone using app. I started the process of pairing and then apple watch reset itself before completing pairing with phone. Now it's stuck in an infinite loop of turning off and on asking to pair with phone and then shutting off again.

If you are still looking for a solution, I had the same problem recently. I sent it back to Apple, where they were unable to recreate the problem. Long story short, check your cable. I spoke with an Apple rep who said that is the problem in 90% of the cases. Turns out, mine had a nick in it all the way down to the copper. Get a new charging cable.

Hi

Try force restarting both devices (the iPhone first, followed immediately by the watch, whilst the iPhone is still restarting):

- Force restart iPhone: press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for around 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

- Force restart Apple Watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

If that does not help, contact Apple Support with a view to having your watch checked under warranty:
