More details:
I can sync with FitBit.
But cannot connect to
- Bluetooth speakers
- Car Hands free (Subaru Outback 2015)
- Macbook for tethering
There were some Bluetooth security upgrades in iOS 9.2, is there any way to disable those extra security features ?

Oct 20, 2015 12:28 PM in response to Brett Lby s2975,The issue is resolved for tethering after MAC is upgraded to EL Captain. This observation kind of confirms the Bluetooth compatibility issue.
It may be an oversight by apple to not allow BT connection from Yosemite.
I am hoping for resolution of car connectivity soon. Its unsafe to pick up calls without hands free.

Dec 10, 2015 4:05 AM in response to s2975by EWRIAH,I am also having the same problem after upgrading to iOS 9.2. Can't use my car (Ford MySync) to make or receive calls. The phone connects fine, but the audio on both incoming and outgoing calls is unusable. Was working fine on the drive into the office in the AM, but not after the upgrade.

Dec 10, 2015 11:53 AM in response to EWRIAHby lkloepfer,Ever since upgrading to IOS 9.2 a day ago, I have been experiencing bluetooth issues when paired with a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500HD. At the completion of every hands free call, the music stored on my iPhone 5s starts playing through the pickups audio system instead of returning to the radio station I was previously listening to.

Dec 11, 2015 6:09 AM in response to lkloepferby noeanne,I am having the same issue. Since the latest update to 9.2 my iPhone 6s will connect via bluetooth to my 2016 Kia Sorento, but the music will not play. The song shows up on the screen, but no sound comes out of the speaker. I cleared my car device off of my phone and I re connected to my car, and it started working perfectly, but then it stopped working again. I have to keep deleting the device off my car and phone and re connecting.

Dec 11, 2015 6:52 AM in response to noeanneby JonBruc,I'm having other bluetooth issues. I can start the car and play audio from Music, but if I skip to the next song, the phone seems to drop the bluetooth audio.

Dec 11, 2015 8:26 AM in response to JonBrucby noeanne,That happens to me too. I contacted Apple Support and they want me to restore my phone to factory settings and then try and see if that works. They also said my car system may not support the newest ios, but it seems like a lot of people are having this issue.

Dec 11, 2015 8:29 AM in response to JonBrucby noeanne,I know, its so aggravating. I have a 2016, so apparently even that won't fix the issue.

Dec 11, 2015 10:15 AM in response to noeanneby Gus23J,2015 Kia Optima has the same exact issues. Music will play for about 10 minutes before cutting out and going back to the radio. I have to reconnect to get to BT media again, but it will not play any sound. Only rebooting the phone or repairing it to the car will fix it, but it will go out again after 10 or so minutes.

Dec 11, 2015 10:25 AM in response to Gus23Jby noeanne,Yes, same exact thing happening to me! I contacted Kia Support to see if it could be an issue with UVO not supporting the newest apple update.
-
Dec 11, 2015 10:29 AM in response to noeanneby Gus23J,Yeah. UVO is pretty bad on it's own, so I wouldn't hold my breath, but really Apple dropped the ball on this one. Just gonna downgrade to 9.1 while I still can.
