Cinema Display - what connectors needed

Hey everyone,

I was given this Cinema Display and I'm not sure what model it is, but i know its on the older side.. Ive attached pictures of the cord i have with it. Am i missing a cord to make it work? Or should this just plug into my laptop? I havent used a cinema display before so am unsure of how it works..

Thank you!

The power supply is missing. The display has four connections:

FireWire (Not needed if you don't use the FireWire ports on the display)

USB (Needed for the USB ports on the display and for computer control of brightness)

DVI (Your display has a DVI to Mini DisplayPort adapter attached to the DVI plug. It can also work in a Thunderbolt port.)

Power (Plugs into the 24 VDC display power supply, which is missing)

You can buy power supplies from:

http://www.welovemacs.com/cidisepa.htmlhttp://www.welovemacs.com/cidisepa.html

The display is 20", 23", or 30". They use power supplies of 65 W, 90 W, or 150 W respectively.

The 20" will also work with the 90 W or 150 W power supply.

The 23" will also work with the 150 W power supply.

Thanks so much for the info Malcolm, very helpful!

The screen is 20" so if i purchase this power supply for example (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-A1096-Cinema-Display-Power-Adapter-65W-for-20-DVI- Cinema-HD-Display-OEM-/121792399892?hash=item1c5b648a14:g:vyAAAOSw14xWJY2m) then this will plug into one of the cords i already have and into the wall, and it should be good to go?
