Unable to change my phone number on my iPhone

I recently changed my phone number with AT&T. However, my MY NUMBER on my iPhone, it shows +1322<my old phone number>. Because of this, my iMessage and FaceTime were not working and I could't even text. I tried to change it in Settings, but it would automatically change back to the wrong number in 1 minute. What should I do?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.0.2

The phone number comes from your SIM card, and the display in Settings you can change. Go to Settings>Phones>My Number and change it. However if your SIM is not recognizing the change in AT&T, then it would not work. Have you powered down the phone since you made this change? Did you get a new SIM from AT&T?
