keyboard writes by itself

Hello everyone I have a big deal, I got a iMac end 2013 with mac os x el capitan 10.11.1.

When my computer goes to stop and I come back to work I try to fill my own password and the keyboards starts typing by itself, I try to stop it but I can't and I'm forced to turn it off, and when I go to turn it on it works in a normal way. Do you know what could it be?? How can I fix it?? Do you think that could be a virus or a hardware problem or maybe could it be some that makes contact something inside the buttons or between in the keyboard?? Please help me. I don't know how to solve it.

This happened on my 2013 mbp right after I installed El Capitan, when I use my bluetooth keyboard and display. I've ordered a new iMac, and am sorry to hear that the problem persists. I usually have to restart the computer to bring it back to normal. I am hoping that the new keyboard won't have this problem.

USB keyboards are spectacularly cheap. As just one example, here's a keyboard for $8:

And if you poke around a bit you can get one for even less than that.

My own feeling is that a person should have a usb keyboard - and mouse, also dirt cheap - just on general principles in case bluetooth problems pop up on your computer.

Hi Cavalli94 I had this issue as well with my iMac 5k after upgrading to el Capitan and found out what works for me is to turn off my magic track pad and just use the magic mouse only seems if you use both it doesn't like it now after upgrading.

Hi.

This bug happened to me last week.

After several tries I found that the problem is between the magic trackpad and the magic mouse. If both are turned on, there's a conflict on lock screen and the keyboard writes repeatedly.

I tried a few days just with the mouse, and a few with the trackpad. No problem at all

An update: using both, the trackpad and the mouse and working on GarageBand the keyboard turns crazy.
