Can you turn off automatic Audio Enhancements in FCPX?

I would like to somehow prevent Final Cut from automatically making changes to audio clips. The Background Noise Removal applied often just makes it worse and very time-consuming to go through and check off the box. I'd rather do it manually.

Switch them off in the import window and in import preferences.

I'll answer my own question. I went to Final Cut Pro->Preferences->Import, then unchecked "Analyze and fix audio problems". That should hopefully do it.
