Encoding with adobe media encoder cc for YouTube

I just finished my first project in FCPX (10.2.2) It is a music video with one audio clip and a bunch of silent video clips synced up to the audio...I have watched some tutorials and read some articles on how to share/export my project in the most effective way. That resulted in me going to File>Share>Master File (apple ProRes 422, 1920 x 1080). And after that, my project looks fine once exported and played back but I want to compress it on my own before I upload it to YouTube rather than have youtube automatically compress my Apple ProRes (.mov) file.

So I brought it into Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015. I use the "YouTube 1080p HD H.264" preset. And when it finishes I could swear some of the video looks like its off from the audio just a hair...As if the JUST the video was nudged back one frame...a very small amount, hard to notice. And maybe it's in my head but I was just wondering if that is possible a thing to happen while going from my FCP export Apple ProRess 422 (.mov) file and compressing it with the Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015 "YouTube 1080p HD H.264" preset into .mp4 file...?

You'll probably get better answers by posting your AME question on an Adobe forum.

If you care to, you could export an H.264 file that should work well on TY directly from FCP. Use the Master file share option and choose H,264 for a codec. If you want a smaller file to upload, choose Computer for format. Bear in mind that YT recompresses every file we upload. So if your internet connection speed is reasonably high, I would choose the larger file. (More info in will give better results out.)

Good luck.
