I would like to find a desktop search that closely mimics Copernic. I have tried EasyFind and find it not intuitive and/or not useful. Can anyone suggest the best or a better alternative to EasyFind?

What were you using Copernic for? Were you searching inside of documents and emails, or just on file names?
For file names, I use:
"Find Any File"

If interested, I have a bunch of one line commands for searching in the terminal.
You could try running, Copernic in Wine [ for adventure in your life ].

Many thanks. Spotlight seemed to work but I'm now trying to do Boolean searches on Spotlight. I want to search text in files and text in files which are in folders? Do-able?
