Black border around video after export

Hey guys,


I created a video with a DJI drone then edited it in Final Cut X. But when I exported it, there is a black border all the way around it.


I know that this must be something simple but I have no idea why. Can anyone shed some light for me please?.

Hit command - J to reveal your project settings in the Inspector. Whatever the specifics, your uploaded video is 16X9 but it is apparently not one of the standard UHD or HD resolutionsthat YT supports. Hence the letter boxing.


You can try a a 2K custom project setting in Final Cut or a 1080p project.


Copy your current timeline and paste it into a new project timeline.

edit: Actually, it would be easier to click the modify settings button since you're not changing the frame rate.
