Apple ID Verification keeps popping up

Hi. I am using iPhone 5S iOS 9.1. Whenever I sign in to the phone I will see this message. (screenshot below)

I reset my phone so many times. I even tried to reset it using DFU mode. I don't know why is this happening. The phone says Apple ID Verification, Enter the password. So I enter the password. But whenever I restart the phone it will pop up again and asks the same thing to enter the Apple ID password. Please fix this, it is really annoying. I tried Sign Out and Sign In in settings and the message still appears when ever I restarts the phone. Please help me. Any help would be appreciated.

I had never changed my Apple ID email address for years, although I had many devices during that period. I also cannot recollect an event that must have triggered it. On advice of a member of the Community, I changed the Apple ID password too, without any change to the problem! This happens in only in iPhone 6S and never in Macbook or iPad Air. Thank you for your Input Matthew.

my old e mail address keeps popping up and i dont have the password?

come on apple you guys can do better than this, we shouldn't have to spend hours trawling through everyones version of how this crap gets sorted, its your phone "even though we paid for it" so can you sort your crap out and give us a standard easy set?

it cant be possible i am logged into my e mail account which relates to my i tunes account and not be able to simply stop this incredibly annoying and pointless pop up every five seconds... so stop this forum rubbish and sort the job out

I have this problem on version 10.0.2

It pops up with my old email. I dont have a password, nor can I go make one because that apple ID no longer exists.

The worst thing is that the pop up is every 16 seconds (yes i timed it) so you cannot even get through typing a message or looking up a contact without having that interrupt ... I'm going to lose my mind. I have tried everything that has been posted in this forum... still no fix 😠

So, after putting it off for a couple of weeks, I finally let if install 10.1, because this popup appeared a couple of times every evening. What a dreadful mistake! Now it pops up again every few seconds!Apple: I DO NOT WANT TO USE YOUR, OR ANYBODY ELSE'S 'CLOUD' STORAGE! That's the whole point of having an iPhone with 128Gb!
Needless to say, I'm restoring the 9.whatever it was version, and will stick with that indefinitely.
Your Music app has been rubbish ever since 9.0, too, the control buttons are difficult enough to see, never mind use.
With no headphone socket on the '7 version, I think the '6 may be my last iPhone ever. Changing things just to keep your software developers busy is not a sound business plan. You guys are seriously losing the plot! And I don't need a phone smaller that the '6, but a longer battery life in the same size case (and a headphone socket) would have been welcome.

I Have the same thing to and Im using an iOS 9 so I would be just on a page on safari then the whole screen turns white with the apple logo in the center then I type my Apple ID but it would say try again later so I would shutdown my device and restart it and do my wifi again the Apple ID and all my photos are gone so have to wait till they all come back i also have to go to I cloud to the new updated terms of use and when it doesn't work it would be popping up every 7 seconds. I've been with this for a couple of months but got used to it,it happened 7 times in a row in one day , it usually happens every or other day. But I have no advice on how to fix this.
