When I press command N, or start a new project manual it won't do anything. It says nothing loaded in the corner of the screen. When I try to import something and click the import button nothing will happen.

i bought it this year. ya it has worked but when i click it nothing will happen, i might've deleted something when i was clearing my laptop for storage.

Download and reinstall FCPX again from AppStore ... a corrupted app could cause all kind of failures ......
it's version 10.2.2. I already tried redownloading, but it says nothing has loaded on the corner of the screen.
CCan you post a screenshot? No idea what the nothing has loaded is referring to.
That's the viewer. You have nothing in the viewer. Need to see what's to the left of that. When you click import what happens? Need to see a screenshot of that.

WWhere are the videos? Im not seeing any videos. I'm just seeing the folders at the root level of the drive. What's User Information? That's not normally there.
I deleted all my footage and projects to free up some space. And I wanted to upload new videos, but now it's not working

SO why is your import window showing your hard drive? What's in the sidebar? Is the SD card mounted on your desktop? Do you see it in the Finder?
You probably hided the browser. Just go to menu Window > Show Browser or use the shortcut ctrl-cmd-1.
My final cut pro won't let me import or start a new project. How do you fix this?
