how do i stop Imessage from capitalizing all letters of a proper name?

I've been having the same issue with the most recent updates except it's not just names. I'm assuming it's from previously having a conversation with friends where YOU CAPITALIZE WORDS IN YOUR SENTANCE LIKE YOURE YELLING OR SOMETHING. It will just randomly full caps words that I have capsed before and there's no way to changed predicted words like that. It's really annoying that it sees full capitalization of a word as an autocorrect.

Ok, so this has been making me crazy for a month but I finally think it's been resolved. Here is what worked and didn't work:

DIDNT WORK

1. Restoring all settings (unhelpful Apple phone call rep said to do this)

2. Turning off Predictive, Caps Lock, and Auto CAPs (you'll feel just as insane as when it were capitalizing words)

3. Complaining to your friends and coworkers and yelling the way your phone is making you sound like you're yelling

DID WORK

1. Resetting Dictionary. The Apple rep incorrectly stated that resetting all settings would include this. It didn't. I just did the dictionary reset and have all my Predictive and Caps settings back on and it's finally not turning random words into CAPs.

Thanks for the guidance. I had 3 dictionaries selected - British, American and Apple. Selecting either British or Apple will cause the all-caps issue. Selecting just American or no dictionary at all will resolve the issue.

Same issue. iPhone autocorrects ERIC (see) I removed all caps everywhere. Still does it. Any help would be great.

Same thing!! My contacts are not capitalized and it does it to nearly EVERY proper name. Such an odd default behavior and VERY annoying! - and yes, I wanted VERY capitalized 😉

I have tried all the solutions suggested on here and none of them work. I am on Vodafone in the UK with an i Phone 6.

I have an iPad Pro and it drives me nuts. Mike auto corrects to MIKE. No matter how many times you click the as you typed it. It ready to **** you off if you forget.
