iPad mini 4 iOS 9.1 update and Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M535 issue

Before I installed/updated to iOS 9.1 on the iPad Mini 4 and iPhone 5S my Logitech Bluetooth M535 mouse paired with the iPad with no problem. Now it doesn't show up as an available device to pair with. I called Apple and followed all of their troubleshooting steps but to no avail. I was passed off to Logitech Support who took me through the same steps with no success. Turns out to be what I suspected... an issue with the upgrade. The logitech mouse works fine with my MacBook which has older iOS software and no issues with Windows 10. So my question: Is this a known issue that others are dealing with and is there a plan for or an available fix?

As far as anyone knowledgable on iOS and iDevices is concerned, No Bluetooth mouse or trackpad works with any iDevice on any iOS.

There has never been any onscreen floating pointer that has been programmed into iOS that can be controlled/navigated by an externally connected or WiFi/Bluetooth pointing device.

This was never a functionality that has ever been part of iOS.

In iOS 9, Apple has programmed a pseudo trackpad functionality into iOS and iDevices now, by tapping the onscreen keyboard once with a two finger single tap anywhere on the keyboard to turn the whole keyboard area into a trackpad to freely control the location of the text "I" beam cursor when typing or editing text.

The specs for your Bluetooth mouse mention Chrome OR Android OS, but nothing about compatibility with Apple iOS or iDevices.
