Is a Casio Privia PX-100 compatible with Logic Pro?

I have recently bought an IMac computer running the latest logic Pro X. I am wanting to connect my casion Privia PX-100, using a new MIDI interface USB cable, in order to record my piano compositions from my casio keyboard using it a a MIDI device, onto logic Pro X.

I cannot find the keyboard in my logic application. I have looked in audio devices where all I can see is 'built in microphone', 2/0 and 'built in output'. 0/2, but no MIDI. I would appreciate any advice. HCressey1

Have you looked here: (in the application Audio/MIDI Setup)

If your MIDI-interface (NOT the Casio - your Mac only needs to "see" the interface.) shows up there, it should all work without having to select any MIDI device anywhere.

Just create a Software Instrument track in Logic, and you should be able to play it. No need to select the MIDI device anywhere in Logic.
