Oct 28, 2015 1:49 PM in response to lllaassby zinga79,Apologies, it was a typo, I meant 2012 model.
Any thoughts on the original issue?? It seems to me after testing a bit more its locking the screen on RD disconnect. Im sure there is a terminal command or something to bypass this but I cant find anything on google.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Nov 21, 2015 3:12 AM in response to zinga79by woodmeister50,For the purposes that you are using for remote control, ARD seems to
be overkill. You should be able to use just the basic Screen Sharing
built into OS X.

Nov 21, 2015 3:27 AM in response to woodmeister50by zinga79,Hi there,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Unfortunately screen sharing seems to use the same connection method, as soon as you disconnect the screen share the remote screen locks.
It worked fine on Yosemite so I'm assuming its a bug in El Capitan, hopefully Apple will address it soon.
Thanks,

Aug 12, 2016 10:04 AM in response to zinga79by remotedesktop,As a security feature, screen sharing restores lock screen if the system was locked when you logged-in. To disable re-locking, run this command on the target system: "sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.RemoteManagement RestoreMachineState -bool NO"
