final cam app problems

ALthough the process you describe is not clear to me i have a few suggestions:

1. IN the future simply cut and paste your data by sticking the sd card in your pc. Or connecting the camera with its usb cable to your pc. The pc will see the camera as new memory that you can reach via explorer And then cut and paste the data.

2. To find data on your phone (if somehow uploaded via the Finalcam app) connect the iphone with a usb cable to your pc and do not use itunes to find the files but windows explorer and find all video and photo data stored on your phone in the dcim main file. Then cut and paste to your pc.

3. Deleting files on a memory card or hd never means that data are overwritten but only that the pathway to these data is disturbed a bit; except if you literally overwrite the old data or do a very slow complete format. So, with special recovery programs you can retrieve the "erased" data. I use Nero recovery (from the larger Nero package).

One more thing on Finalcam:

The developer of the app did not (yet) find it worth while to publish a manual. Finalcam seems to be a fine working program.

I Have the same problem, the Video's are in the App I think, I can not found them anywhere, the were not on the Mini SD anymore

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem als "Round the World" en heb al vele dingen geprobeerd.

ik heb de filmpjes opgemomen met een SJ6000 camera. via WIFI heb ik de camera verbonden met mijn I-Phone, waar ik het Appje "FinalCam" op heb staan.

je krijgt dan te zien hoeveel filmpjes erop staan, en je kan dan kiezen om deze naar de App te halen.

je zit dan de filmpjes binnenkomen, en sommige met een zwart scherm.

je gaat er dan vanuit dat deze bij je Video's komen te staan, of eventueel direct in mijn ICloud, maar helaas ik kan er gewoon niet bij.

als je dam de SD eruit haalt, en in PC doet staan er geen filmpjes meer op.

Een kennis van me met veel computer ervaring, heeft ze geprobeerd terug te halen, maar hij kwakm er ook niet bij.

nog tips?

I had same problem. I recommend you to restore the file
from your SD card.

I used a software called "Recuva" and succeeded 🙂

If you have not formatted your SD card, I believe you have a chance to restore your precious movies.

Hi guys, I have the same problem. My videos are "caged" in this app, and there is no chance for me to get those pics from recuva back.
Is there any other chance to get those videos back? I mean there have to be another option...**** 😟 I am really sad...

Install it on your Mac/PC, connect your iPhone, locate the Finalcam folder, Action -> Export To Folder..

Works in demo mode, no need to buy the app

What worked for me is go to ITunes and download the FinalCam app. Then sync with your device.Select the Apps menu under your device, in the right pane scroll down to Filesharing Apps. Here you can select FinalCam and save the video files to your pc.

Hello everyone I have a resolution. I was equally frustrated and upset that this final cam app didn't work! The company then referred me to a Youmera app which didn't work as well. I spent hours researching apps for my IOS IPhone 6 Plus. After downloading many apps I found the one that works. You can control the camera remotely with the wifi connect and download your videos straight to the camera roll without losing the footage. The app is very basic but it works. Beware the videos do take awhile to download but once it was in my camera roll I was able to edit it with iMovie.

So after my ramble the app is called Wifi Action Camera. It's free enjoy!
