Podcasts Not Downloading

Some of my video podcasts (Comedy Central Stand Up Comedy, VH1's Best Night Ever, Dane Cook's Tourgasm) are not downloading. They appear in the download window, but stop before the download starts. After I try to download them, there is an ! next to them.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I just had a similar problem after updating to iTunes a day ago. It first looked like the downloads were cancelling early. When I noticed the Downloads folder, I clicked on that to find the files were in fact downloading and found where. But when the download was completed, iTunes failed to move the file to the final location.

I don't really want to speak too soon, but I found I had to also update to the latet Quicktime also. I didn't want to do that because I heard Quicktime lost some Flash support.

I just gave Apple of feedback on this and more downgraded quirks.

I am having almost the exact same problem, i just bought a new 30g Black Video/Music ipod, and i want to download podcasts (Volcast, etc.) and when i try to download it, on an online connection, the title of the podcast has a ! next to it and it says that it is not able to connect with the server. And if i go to the music store and try to download a different podcast, it shows the podcast being "downloaded" in the podcast tab, but it doesn't move once, it says i have the option to pause them, but it won't move in a download status.

I have the same problem but its eratic and only occurs with certain episodes. It starts to download then you get the '!' and I get an error 416.... which is really helpful in sorting out the issue!!! BTW if I go to the actual web site where the podcasts are coming from I can download the .mp3 with no problems at all - its just not classified as a podcast when I add it to my Ipod, it just goes in a another song. It's really annoying, I hope someone finds the solution, In the meantime I will try to discover what error 416 means!!!!
