Where is my Home Library Folder in El Capitan?
I need to access my User/Username/Library/Containers and I have no way to do it. Is this a hidden folder now? Please help!

Guys, I've made an account to try and help you guys out. After you openned the Library folder like this awesome guy here sugested, we can simply press and hold(alt on PC keyboard, the one on the left), and then drag it to the shortcut bar on the left. That's gonna make it permanent there, everytime you open Finder. Hope this helps! Peace
I think I wasn't very clear: click and hold the library icon on the middle of the top corner of the window,.. and then drag that, to the left bar on the finder. oh yeah, no need to how alt haha. peace

The Show Library Folder option only appears for View Options when you're viewing the Home folder, it will not appear for any other folder.
Please tell me how to go to this 'use as defaults' screen you have posted above.I went to the home folder but I don't see this.Thanks.
You have to be in List View to see that panel.
For everyone…
If you want to see a "View Options" panel that has "Show Library Folder" as an option no matter what view you are using in the Finder, make sure your Home folder is enabled in the Finder Sidebar in the Finder Sidebar preferences. Select the Home folder in the Finder Sidebar then press Command-J
Why use a 3rd party utility to do what the OS does itself, thats the best way to clutter up your Mac.
Remember that theres actually three different library folders, but really two that's related to what your doing. Theres your Global library HD>Library and your User Library HD>users>username>Library. These are totally different folders and the Option key while pressing go in finder and the Command+j menu option already talked about are only for your user library and the show library box wont be listed if your on the global library. Saw some people talking about this so thats maybe what the issue is and also you might be hitting the commands while your in the wrong directory or folder. I also Have SIP disabled so I might have a little different functionality than you may. You can also get to both directories very quickly by opening a finder window and pressing Shift-command-g and enter ~/library for your user library and /Library for your global library. Hope this helps.
