is there a charging light to see if the remote is charging

When I plug in my remote theres no light to tell its charging

There is no charging light. Apple says you will only need to charge your remote a few times a year and that makes sense. The remote draws very little power from the battery. The old remote had a regular battery and mine lasted for almost two years be fore it needed changing.


The only way to see the remote charge level is to go to Settings->Remotes and Devices->Bluetooth where you will see a typical battery level icon showing charge level. In addition the Apple TV will alert you when the remote’s battery is getting low.
