After updating El Capitan, now I get the "An unexpected error occurred while signing in." Can't do any software updates or load any new software. Please help.
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)
Navigate to: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Delete networkinterface.plist
Reboot.
Navigate to: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Delete networkinterface.plist
Reboot.
The posted solution above did not help me. I can no longer log into MAS to use, update, or install any apps. This occurred after a routine shutdown and startup on Nov 13.
error message:
"An unexpected error occurred while signing in.
AMD-Action:authenticate:SP"

I don't understand network connection configuraction and App Store. It doesn't matter, it worked!

I know this is an old thread but I just bought a MacBook Pro and this happened to me. My first one and I don't know the steps to get to where your talking about. Could anyone help?
