Which will not work with Apple apps. See this from their FAQ list: Apple does not provide native mouse support for iOS. The Citrix X1 Mouse communicates directly with Citrix Receiver as opposed to communicating with iOS. Citrix X1 Mouse and Citrix Receiver utilize Apple’s publically supported APIs to establish the Bluetooth communication (BLE) between the X1 Mouse and Citrix Receiver. The mouse functionality is only available on XenApp and XenDesktop hosted apps and desktops and Citrix ShareConnect, ShareConnect and GoToMyPC mobile apps, the mouse will not function for other iOS apps. The mouse can also be used on a non-iOS device, in which case the X1 Mouse behaves just like a standard Bluetooth 4.0 mouse.
Aren't you tired of beating this dead horse yet?
Read Multiform post. You can use a mouse with remote Windows and vnc desktop apps on the ipad. You need the right app store app.

Done and done!
i couldn't agree more. i have the ipad pro and would give anything to be able to use a mouse with it. i didn't want a laptop and i love my ipad for all that it does do but, to inhance it with the ability to use a mouse and wireless keyboard shouldn't offend anyone. you wouldn't be losing any of it's functions as it was designed... but adding a feature that can be used when someone wants or not.
Just bought an iPad Pro and was shocked it does not support a mouse, for people saying the iOS is not designed for a mouse, when you have a screen the size like the iPad Pro you 100% need mouse support. I have never Jail Broken any of my devices, but I now searching every day for a fix to this. It may be touch screen but once it's not the stand and you start poking the screen it will eventually fall off.
If Apple expect professionals to use this, they need to offer mouse support you can't design PowerPoint or or edit Excel, selecting code with your finger is next to impossible.
Please fix this Apple, no mouse support is shocking.

Why are you shocked? Did you seriously spend that much money without finding out if the device would meet your needs?

Professional what? Not all everyone has the same needs.

<Sigh> Apple is not reading here. Use the feedback link if you want them to know how you feel.

I've had my iPad Pro for about 4 months now, used daily for both work and personal use and have never once felt a need nor a desire for a mouse. It works fine exactly as it is. I use mine to edit Word documents, work with Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and posters in prep., mark up PDF documents I read, take notes (both typed and free hand with my Apple Pencil), do my banking, correspondence, and a host of other things. No need for a mouse at all in doing any of those tasks.
And no iOS device has ever supported a mouse, so why you would think a new iOS device suddenly would is beyond me. iOS is and always has been a purely touch interface operating system.

You're obviously not a professional! 😉
If you want something that does everything just buy an Android, then you'll be Jack of All trades
My hand (and apparently Michael's) is a far superior pointing device then any assemblage of electronic bits. 🙂
It would appear neither am I, though granted I've only had the iPad Pro for a couple of days, the need for a mouse has not arisen.
