Which will not work with Apple apps. See this from their FAQ list: Apple does not provide native mouse support for iOS. The Citrix X1 Mouse communicates directly with Citrix Receiver as opposed to communicating with iOS. Citrix X1 Mouse and Citrix Receiver utilize Apple’s publically supported APIs to establish the Bluetooth communication (BLE) between the X1 Mouse and Citrix Receiver. The mouse functionality is only available on XenApp and XenDesktop hosted apps and desktops and Citrix ShareConnect, ShareConnect and GoToMyPC mobile apps, the mouse will not function for other iOS apps. The mouse can also be used on a non-iOS device, in which case the X1 Mouse behaves just like a standard Bluetooth 4.0 mouse.
The choice of whether to buy one is yours, if Apple don't make what you want then don't buy.
Your total misunderstanding of the hardware of the iPad Pro negated any consideration of your rant.
The consumer cannot/shouldn't be expected to buy TWO devices just because one can't use a mouse.
And they are not 'expected' to, the choice of what to buy is entirely theirs.
That's exactly what this lack of feature can cause. Apple knows this and smartly distributes features to encourage it.
Fortunately for you, Apple's decisions work for you. I'm happy for you.
Unfortunately, they don't for thousands of other people that have this issue.
Then these 'thousands' should send their feedback to Apple.

You dont need more than one device to do this, get a surface pro and you can have it all.
A Surface Pro's battery will never last a day in the field like an iPad Pro and it has no mobile connectivity like the iPad.
It's not a solution.
How is that a 'guarantee', looks more like an 'opinion' from here.
Show some supporting documentation for the 'guarantee'
1. They can use a pointing device, the Apple Pencil works well for that
2. Likewise
3. And likewise.
Regardless of opinions a couple of facts stick out.
iPad's (all) do not have mouse support, they have never had it and probably never will. So (feeling as you do) why did you buy one?

Please provide a link where Apple calls it a "supercomputer." I've never seen that claim.
The ipad pro is not a supercomputer, dont believe eveything Apple tells you.
That is
Super. Computer. Not, supercomputer.
It is nothing more than mere marketing speak, in "that computer is super".
