Can I record my vinyl with Logic Pro X?
I have recently purchased an iMac (running OS X El Capitan) and want to digitise my vinyl collection and was wondering if Logic Pro X would allow me to do this.
iPod classic, Windows 7

Any audio program can record your vinyl collection, there's about 50 free ones out there. It's not the program that records the audio that determines quality, it's the audio interface/digital converters and vinyl playback medium that define the quality. (in other words, the hardware you use to play the vinyl and the audio interface you record with). The computer has an inexpensive audio interface with cheap multipurpose converters so the quality will not be great. You will want an audio interface that has decent analog/digital converters and you may need impedance matching hardware to match a magnetic cartridge to an audio input(s).
Garageband that comes free with your iMac and OS will do this.
